DeepDrive is building next-generation electric drives, and nearly every component passes through Procurement. As a Procurement Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that prototype and development projects receive the parts they need on schedule.
You will work closely with Engineering, Process Development, and suppliers to manage purchasing activities, track deliveries, and keep projects moving forward. The role emphasizes organizational skills, pragmatism, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment rather than deep technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, select, and manage suppliers
- Review purchasing requests from Engineering and Process Development teams
- Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system
- Procure prototype, sample, and development parts
- Monitor delivery schedules and proactively communicate updates to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of critical components
- Follow up on urgent orders and resolve delivery issues quickly and pragmatically
Requirements:
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, business qualification, or comparable background
- Initial experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, or similar environment
- Strong organizational skills and hands-on mindset
- Ability to drive topics to completion, even when challenges arise
- Confident communicator comfortable addressing issues and proposing solutions
- Ability to work with different stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent German and good English skills (English is the company language)
