Brex is a fintech platform enabling companies to spend smarter through corporate cards, banking, and spend management software. The Partnerships team drives new revenue by originating and scaling partnerships across distribution channels and strategic ecosystems.
The Private Equity Channel team builds partnerships with PE firms to drive customer growth, generate pipeline, and increase monetization. Over the past year, Brex has turned Tier 1 PE firms into active referral sources through consistent in-market presence and demonstrated ROI.
In this role, you will support the Private Equity channel across business development and value creation workstreams. You will build targeted outbound campaigns to generate top-of-funnel meetings and qualified pipeline. Working closely with the PE lead, Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers, you will develop skills to manage your own book of PE partners over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and executing weekly outbound campaigns to PE firms, including target identification, contact research, email copy, and multi-touch sequences
- Generating top-of-funnel meetings through thoughtful outreach and meaningful follow-up
- Supporting PE partner meetings by pulling data from analytics platforms, analyzing portfolio company activity, and creating case studies and materials
- Partnering with Account Executives on live PE-backed opportunities by gathering deal context and crafting relevant messaging
- Collaborating with Customer Success to identify value-creation opportunities across PE portfolio companies, including expansion and upsell
- Tracking campaign and partner performance, surfacing market insights, and proposing new segments or outreach strategies
You will be based in the San Francisco office in a hybrid environment requiring a minimum of three coordinated days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), with up to four weeks per year of fully remote work flexibility.
Required qualifications include 1+ year in SDR/BDR, Customer Success, PE sourcing, or similar client-facing business development roles. You should have experience building outbound prospecting campaigns, researching contacts, writing email sequences, and setting meetings. Strong commercial judgment and ability to communicate credibly with senior finance executives is essential. Proficiency in Excel and comfort with analytics platforms like Hex, plus ability to translate data into presentations using Google Slides or PowerPoint, are required.
