In this Principal role on the Strategic Institutional Capital team, you will build and execute relationships with non-bank institutional capital providers—insurers, private credit funds, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and infrastructure investors. You'll serve as the primary commercial relationship owner for assigned institutional partners, driving origination and shaping opportunities across Crux's full product suite (debt, preferred equity, tax equity, structured products).
Key responsibilities include: originating and developing programmatic capital solutions; translating institutional mandates and investment priorities into actionable partnership opportunities; maintaining 80%+ coverage of prequalified developer transactions with an investable universe; serving as a trusted advisor on market dynamics; supporting transaction execution across structuring, legal, and business management teams; and building Crux's brand visibility through industry presence and thought leadership.
You'll work closely with senior team members to advance strategic joint ventures and separately managed vehicles, ensuring seamless client experience and opportunities for repeat deployment. The role bridges commercial strategy with execution, requiring both relationship acumen and deep capital markets expertise.
