Zynga, a global leader in interactive entertainment and a label of Take-Two Interactive, is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join its Bengaluru office. The company's games have been downloaded over 6 billion times and connect players across 175+ countries through titles including FarmVille, Words With Friends, Zynga Poker, Game of Thrones Slots Casino, Toon Blast, Empires & Puzzles, and many others. In this role, you will develop new and innovative features for games played by millions of players worldwide. You will work across the full technology stack using Java, C#, C++, Python, and JavaScript. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing large-scale features, breaking down complex problems for team implementation - Performing design and code reviews to maintain engineering excellence - Ensuring game performance, reliability, and measurability through best practices - Taking ownership of live game health and stability - Mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical growth - Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, artists, and QA teams in an agile environment - Rapidly prototyping solutions and continuously optimizing game performance - Demonstrating strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills You will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for high-impact work that directly affects the experience of millions of players. REQUIREMENTS: - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent - 8+ years of professional experience with C#, C++, JavaScript, Android, iOS, React, or Java - Solid fundamental programming skills including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, operating systems, networking, and AWS Cloud - Experience with source control management and code review processes - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment
