UiPath is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Test Cloud team in Bangalore. You will architect and lead large-scale distributed systems powering the next generation of intelligent, autonomous testing—spanning backend services, AI/agentic capabilities, and end-to-end product experiences.
In this role, you will own the technical vision and implementation of core platform systems including test orchestration, execution engines, results and reporting pipelines, ALM/CI integrations, and AI/agentic services. You'll make architectural decisions across the full stack—from API contracts and data flow to real-time streaming behavior and performance budgets—ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability from the ground up.
You will set multi-quarter technical direction for Test Cloud, drive alignment with adjacent UiPath platform teams (Studio, Orchestrator, Automation Cloud, AI platform), and represent engineering in customer architecture reviews and analyst engagements. Your work will span the intersection of AI and testing, owning the technical vision for embedding agentic intelligence into test creation, execution, and analysis—enabling smarter test generation, self-healing automation, and autonomous quality workflows.
The role requires deep backend expertise in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, combined with strong full-stack judgment. You'll partner closely with product management and design to shape what gets built, bring technical ideas that unlock new product value, and keep customer outcomes central to architectural decisions. You'll also champion the adoption of AI-powered developer tools and coding agents to amplify team productivity and shape how the engineering organization builds software in an AI-first future.
The technology stack includes .NET Core, C#, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Angular. You'll work with a diverse, modern engineering team that collaborates closely with product to ideate, design, and deliver features end-to-end—owning everything from architecture and implementation to automated testing, product quality, and both cloud and on-premises deployment solutions.
