This is a senior technical role focused on designing and architecting the next generation of Okta's cloud services and client software for secure authentication and access management.

The ideal candidate brings 12+ years of experience building and scaling Java-based web applications and services, with deep understanding of design patterns, scalability patterns, security engineering, and object-oriented principles. You should have experience in fast-paced, agile environments with strong CI/CD practices and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, FIDO, WebAuthn), security best practices and threat modeling, UI technologies (Angular, React, Vue), and cybersecurity principles with secure coding practices.
