As Principal Software Engineer for Post Trade, you will lead the technical architecture and delivery of high-performance, low-latency brokerage systems. This is a senior individual contributor and technical leadership role within the Post Trade Engineering team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and deliver scalable, low-latency trading systems using Java/Golang
- Own technical architecture for brokerage backend systems supporting multiple asset classes (equities, options, mutual funds)
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and microservices
- Assess and optimize application and database performance
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
- Partner with Broker Dealer Operations teams to enhance trading systems
- Define specifications, develop components, and prepare functional documentation
- Support system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with deep expertise in building high-performance financial systems. The role combines hands-on technical work with mentorship and architectural guidance, positioned at the intersection of fintech innovation and institutional-grade execution.
