The Principal Silicon Verification Engineer will work within the Silicon verification team, responsible for ensuring that RTL (Register Transfer Level) designs created by the logical design team align with Graphcore's architecture specifications. This is a senior technical role focused on quality assurance and verification excellence across the silicon design lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading verification activities and planning across the silicon team
- Specification and closure of functional coverage to meet quality objectives
- Test generation, failure diagnosis, and triage of silicon issues
- Providing architectural feedback to design teams
- Contributing to and improving shared verification infrastructure
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination across distributed sites
- Mentoring junior verification engineers and establishing best practices
The role requires deep expertise in silicon verification methodologies, strong leadership and planning capabilities, and the ability to drive technical decisions that impact product quality. You will work on cutting-edge AI accelerator hardware, collaborating with logical design, physical design, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality silicon.
