Ferroelectric Memory Company (FMC) is seeking a Principal Product Reliability Engineer to lead the reliability strategy for its revolutionary DRAM+ (FerroRAM) technology. This is a senior technical leadership role combining deep semiconductor expertise with cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
You will translate customer, industry, and reliability standard requirements into comprehensive qualification and reliability test plans for FMC's products at both wafer and component levels. You will drive the development of reliability concepts, qualification methodologies, and test strategies for the innovative DRAM+ technology in close collaboration with internal technology teams, universities, and research partners.
Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating reliability and qualification testing activities with external test house partners in Taiwan; analyzing test results and leading root-cause analysis investigations in collaboration with technology, product, and engineering teams; presenting and communicating test results and reliability assessments to internal stakeholders and customers; preparing comprehensive qualification reports and data packages to support customer product releases and certifications; serving as the key point of contact for reliability and qualification topics across cross-functional teams and external partners; and supporting the Quality team during customer audits, certifications, and quality-related training activities.
You will work within a highly motivated, international, and collaborative team focused on next-generation non-volatile memory technology. FMC, founded in 2016 and based in Dresden, is at the forefront of ferroelectric memory innovation, enabling faster, more energy-efficient, and scalable solutions for AI, IoT, and high-performance computing applications.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microtechnology, or comparable field
- More than 5 years of experience in reliability and/or product engineering for DRAM or NVM (non-volatile memory) products
- Deep knowledge of reliability models for DRAM/NVM products
- Solid background in product design and test
- Solid knowledge of semiconductor technology
- Excellent communication skills (internal and customer-facing)
- Fluent in English; German and/or Mandarin is a plus
- Team player in cross-functional environments
