Fin (now part of Salesforce) is building the highest-performing AI Customer Agent on the market, enabling businesses to deliver exceptional customer support across service, sales, and ecommerce. The company combines its proprietary AI models with the Intercom help desk to create a unified customer experience platform. As Principal Product Marketing Manager for Segments, you will own the narratives and go-to-market strategies that shape how Fin wins in specific industries and customer segments. This is a senior individual contributor role where you drive impact through the quality of your strategic thinking and your ability to mobilize sales, enablement, and demand generation teams. Your core responsibilities include: - Define and own industry-specific messaging by translating audience cohorts into sharp, vertical- and segment-specific narratives. Build the complete bill of materials (web landing pages, demos, sales decks, sales plays, campaign messaging) for priority industries. - Own the Enterprise segment product marketing strategy, including the trust and security messaging that enterprise buyers require. Partner with sales to feed enterprise requirements back into R&D. - Support demand generation and campaigns by defining audience targeting, building campaign messaging, and co-creating campaign journeys with the demand gen team (you own messaging; they own channel and execution). - Create frameworks and multi-stakeholder deal strategies that help reps navigate complex sales while maintaining a cohesive platform story across industries, segments, and personas. - Test messaging effectiveness through field feedback, conversion signals, and rep confidence. Iterate quickly based on market signals. - Operate at the intersection of strategy and execution—taking narratives all the way from research and positioning through to field assets and campaign delivery. You will work in a fast-paced environment where product ships quickly and messaging must keep pace without sacrificing quality. You'll collaborate closely with product, sales, demand generation, and creative teams to ensure alignment and execution. Fin operates a hybrid working policy with an expectation of at least three days per week in the office. REQUIREMENTS: - 6+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, or industry/segment marketing at a B2B SaaS company - Demonstrated experience building industry or vertical messaging and supporting assets; ability to articulate what landed in market and why - Proven track record owning Enterprise or segment marketing, including trust, security, and requirements narratives that enterprise buyers demand - Experience partnering closely with demand generation and campaigns, owning messaging while they own channel and execution; shipped campaigns that converted - Experience operating in fast-paced environments where product ships faster than messaging can keep up, and ability to maintain quality while moving at pace - Excellent written communication skills: ability to write crisp briefs, sharp narratives, and synthesis memos that drive alignment; can write for both C-level executives and sales reps - Strong editorial judgment and ability to distinguish sharp positioning from empty marketing language - Comfort pushing back on vague claims and forcing specificity in your own work and others' - Product-obsessed and technically engaged: reads documentation, uses the product, and digs into technical details before crafting messaging - Understanding of technical differentiation in AI across the stack (model, app, infrastructure) and a point of view on the direction of the AI customer service market - Fluent use of AI tools in your own work; always seeking new ways to move faster and think sharper - Systems thinker who builds reusable messaging architectures and frameworks, not just one-off assets - Ability to turn audience research into actionable bills of materials that field and demand gen teams can execute immediately - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; builds trust quickly and makes people around you more effective - Ambitious, competitive, confident, and decisive; optimizes for progress over consensus - Curious and intellectually engaged; keeps pace with AI's rapid evolution - Impatient with slow processes; thrives in ambiguity and loves building something new
