Salary: USD 196,000 - 245,000 / annual
Zscaler is seeking a Principal Product Manager for its Logging and Analytics Platform to own and scale the big data logging infrastructure powering the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Management, Platform Infrastructure, and is hybrid (3 days/week in Santa Clara or Bellevue office).
You will lead the roadmap for a massive platform processing 800+ billion transactions daily, supporting petabyte-scale logging infrastructure, cloud-native architecture, and next-generation AI-driven security operations (AgenticOps). Key responsibilities include:
• Scaling big data infrastructure: Execute the roadmap for platform reliability, scalability, and customer-facing logging capabilities, supporting capacity planning and next-gen hardware decisions.
• Driving log streaming and ecosystem integrations: Own log streaming products across cloud-to-cloud, on-premises, and hyperscaler deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), plus top-tier SIEM integrations.
• Championing data privacy and compliance: Partner with legal, CISO, compliance, and engineering teams to navigate complex global privacy regulations and standards.
• Enabling customers and field teams: Shape best practices for logging pipeline deployment and empower Security Operations Centers (SOCs) to operationalize Zscaler logs effectively.
• Unifying cross-product strategies: Collaborate across Zscaler platform product lines to define, track, and align logging requirements and lead common platform initiatives.
• Spearheading next-gen initiatives: Drive high-visibility projects including integrating logging into Zscaler's native agentic experience and innovative monetization models.

REQUIREMENTS:
• 12+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of defining, launching, and scaling successful security products for cloud environments.
• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows and problem-solving.
• Deep technical understanding of designing and scaling petabyte-scale, high-throughput logging and telemetry platforms, including reliable ingestion, streaming, batch processing, and distributed architectures.
• Deep technical expertise in network security and protocols including proxies, firewalls, TLS, PKI, and HTTP/S.
• Deep technical familiarity with network security paradigms, SIEM integrations, and rigorous data governance standards.
• Proven experience with cloud-native services at hyperscalers or major SaaS providers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency.
• Prior sysadmin or DevOps background in hyperscalers, including setting up lab/demo environments and creating technical collateral.
• Experience managing business cases, pricing strategies, and complex customer negotiations involving SaaS metrics, SLAs, and enterprise contracts.
• Cross-functional leadership ability to lead without authority and align teams across Engineering, Cloud Ops, Sales, and Support.
