Salary: USD 167,000 - 230,000 / annual
Chime, a financial technology company, is seeking a Principal People Partner to lead multiple functions within their rapidly growing enterprise business. Based in the NYC office, this role reports to the VP of People Partners and serves as a strategic thought partner, workforce planner, talent steward, program deployer, and leadership coach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside business leaders and other people partners to deliver people strategies that support talent growth and development
- Coach managers through the full employee lifecycle, leveraging expertise to navigate difficult conversations and address business group needs
- Collaborate with People Operations and Senior People Partners to drive decisions that align culture with reward strategies while ensuring internal parity
- Advocate for and nurture culture within business teams, ensuring unique voices, perspectives, and challenges are recognized and addressed
- Partner with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure successful implementation of people initiatives
- Actively participate in the design, execution, and rollout of company-wide initiatives
- Communicate and plan organizational changes in partnership with other People team members

Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of HR business partner experience
- Expertise in building trusting relationships with leaders at all levels
- Data-driven outlook with ability to use people metrics to inform decision-making
- Sense of empathy and understanding for the needs of diverse groups
- Ability to balance strategic partnership-building with execution
- Comfort interpreting and using people data to tell a story and translate it into actionable strategy
- Passion for advocating for others and speaking up even when difficult
