Datadog is seeking an experienced Principal Partner Manager to lead the recruitment and enablement of Global Systems Integrator (GSI) partners. This role focuses on identifying and recruiting new strategic SI partners to drive revenue growth, enabling existing partners through training and joint selling activities, and coordinating technical and marketing aspects of partnership launches. Key responsibilities include hosting regular business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics, working hand-in-hand with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations, and generating partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue. The role requires deep expertise in partner-facing, quota-carrying business development and channel sales within cloud services or SaaS organizations. You will need 10+ years of experience in partner-facing, quota-carrying roles in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at cloud/SaaS companies. You should have proven success driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating agreements, and building long-lasting partnerships. Understanding of leading Global and regional Systems Integrators is essential, as is the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them clearly to diverse audiences. The role requires 40-50% travel. Bonus qualifications include experience with SaaS and consumption-based software platforms, background in systems management or monitoring, partnerships supporting Containers and/or DevOps in cloud environments, and a technical background or education. Datadog values entrepreneurial mindset, passion for fast-paced growth environments, and the ability to identify market opportunities and execute go-to-market plans. Datadog operates as a hybrid workplace, allowing employees to create work-life harmony that fits their needs. The company offers competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, dental, parental planning, mental health support, 401(k) with match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and an employee stock purchase plan.
