Celonis is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to design transformative solution architectures for enterprise customers leveraging Process Intelligence and AI capabilities. This role combines deep technical expertise with executive presence, requiring you to engage C-level stakeholders, translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps, and drive enterprise modernization initiatives.
You will lead architecture and cloud strategy for major client accounts, serving as the bridge between Celonis product/engineering teams and customer technical teams. Key responsibilities include designing data and integration architectures, assessing customer IT landscape maturity, identifying innovative solutions with Agentic AI, and coaching consulting teams on technical implementation. You'll participate in both pre-sales and post-sales phases, developing customer-facing thought leadership assets, technical designs, and position papers.
The ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of experience as a software vendor architect, consulting firm CTO, or enterprise architect at a large customer. You need strong expertise in data architecture, integration patterns, and development proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar languages. Essential skills include strategic thinking that connects technical solutions to business value, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and hands-on capability to code/assemble architecture demos.
You should have deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy enterprise systems. An MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT background is required. Preferred qualifications include Celonis certifications, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, ESB/ETL tool expertise (Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, Informatica), and domain experience in Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, or Procurement across industries like Consumer Goods, Banking, Pharma, Aerospace, Telco, or Transport. Fluency in English plus Spanish, French, or Italian is advantageous.
