Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to design transformative solution architectures for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical expertise with executive presence, requiring you to confidently present to C-level executives and translate their strategic goals into actionable technical plans.
You will lead architecture, data, and cloud strategy for the company's largest client accounts, leveraging expertise in enterprise modernization and capability mapping. Working across pre-sales and post-sales phases, you'll engage with customer architecture and security teams, assess IT landscape maturity, and serve as a bridge between Celonis product/engineering teams and client teams.
Key responsibilities include: defining overall architecture and cloud strategy for major accounts; presenting to C-level executives and aligning their objectives with Celonis technical strategy; identifying and architecting solutions leveraging emergent technologies including Agentic AI; coaching consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation; developing reusable assets and customer-facing thought leadership materials; and creating technical designs and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
You'll support the sales team in achieving revenue goals by unlocking technical blockers and driving new customer acquisition, retention, and expansion. Success is measured by new customer acquisition rates, retention, upselling, and overall contribution to sales and business success.
Required qualifications: 10-15 years of relevant experience (software vendor architect, CTO at top consulting firm, or enterprise architect at customer); proven strategic thinking connecting technical solutions to business value; excellent communication skills with track record presenting complex concepts to C-level executives; demonstrated experience in capability mapping, enterprise modernization, and Agentic AI; strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow), cybersecurity, APIs, and legacy enterprise architectures; strong data architecture and integration background with development experience in SQL, Python, or similar; MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT field; fluency in English (Swedish or Danish advantageous).
Preferred: Celonis certifications, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, ESB/ETL certifications, TOGAF/Zachman certification, experience in finance, manufacturing, or supply chain domains.
