Celonis, the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to join their Bangalore office. This is a senior technical leadership role supporting enterprise customers and the sales organization.
You will design solution architectures for prospects and customers, integrating Celonis products to meet their performance, security, and business requirements. Working across pre-sales and post-sales phases, you'll engage with customer C-level executives and technical teams to align their strategic objectives with Celonis technical capabilities. You'll serve as the bridge between Celonis product, engineering, and consulting teams and customer stakeholders, unlocking technical blockers and enabling product adoption.
Key responsibilities include: leading architecture and cloud strategy definition for large client accounts; assessing customer IT landscape maturity; coaching Celonis consulting teams and ecosystem partners on technical implementation; developing reusable assets and customer-facing thought leadership materials; and creating technical designs and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
You'll need 15–25 years of relevant experience as a software vendor architect, consulting firm CTO, or enterprise architect at a customer organization. Strong background required in data architecture, integration patterns, and development experience with data languages (SQL, Python). You must be comfortable explaining architecture diagrams and coding/assembling technical demos. Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions (Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics, ServiceNow), cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy enterprise systems is essential. Fluency in English required; additional languages (Spanish, French, Italian) are advantageous. MSc in Computer Science or equivalent IT degree required.
Preferred qualifications include Celonis certifications, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications, ESB/ETL certifications (Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, Informatica), TOGAF/Zachman certification, and experience in domains like Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, or Procurement across industries such as Consumer Goods, Banking, Pharma, Aerospace, Telco, or Transport.
