FYUL (formed in 2024 from the merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce) is seeking a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a critical engineering area and set the standard for how the company builds and delivers products. This is a senior leadership role combining strong engineering judgment with deep ownership. You will partner closely with Product and Design to shape solutions from the earliest stages, bring clarity to complex problem spaces, and help your team deliver predictably and sustainably. You'll stay close to the technical work, understand what your team is building and why, and create conditions for strong execution, healthy engineering standards, and meaningful business impact. Key responsibilities include leading a team of engineers with clear direction, context, and feedback; partnering with Product and Design to shape solutions early; owning delivery from problem definition through execution with clarity and alignment; driving predictable execution through thoughtful planning and transparency; maintaining high standards for engineering quality, scalability, and maintainability; and contributing to broader engineering improvements across the organization. Required qualifications: significant experience leading engineering teams within a product company; strong track record delivering complex products or systems in fast-moving environments; comfort operating in both technical and product discussions; strong ownership mindset and ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations; experience partnering closely with Product and Design; and clear communication skills with a practical, execution-oriented leadership approach. The tech stack includes PHP (Symfony), Node.js (TypeScript), and Angular (TypeScript) for languages; PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB for data; AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm for infrastructure; automated testing, CI/CD, and continuous delivery for engineering practices; and practical experience with LLMs and coding assistants for development workflows. FYUL powers on-demand commerce at global scale, helping creators and brands turn ideas into beautiful products. The company offers remote work within EMEA, flexible hours (start as late as 11 AM), private health insurance, extra paid days off for wellness and celebrations, learning opportunities, mentorship and internal events, and employee discounts on products.
