Anduril Industries is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Space Special Programs team in Chantilly, VA. This role combines individual contribution with technical leadership on spacecraft and space systems design.
You will own the full-cycle PCB design process for spacecraft and associated systems, including requirements collection, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision/completion, bring-up, test, debug, and system integration. As both an individual contributor and team lead, you will be responsible for developing system electrical designs, mentoring team members, and establishing internal guidelines and best practices for space flight hardware design, test, and manufacture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design market-leading hardware products
- Driving product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities
- Applying modern space-flight hardware design standards to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies
- Implementing combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, ultra-low power, and medium-power designs
- Leading the team in establishing internal guidelines and best practices for space flight hardware
- Mentoring and growing your engineering team
The Space Special Programs team develops, tests, deploys, and operates advanced, mission-critical space capabilities for customers operating in challenging operational environments.
