As Principal of Corporate Development, you will lead the strategic acquisition of Home Instead franchise territories for Honor's headquarters, driving innovation and growth across the network. This role sits at the intersection of M&A execution, operational strategy, and meaningful impact in aging care.
Key responsibilities include:
Territory Assessment & Strategy: Evaluate available franchise territories for acquisition attractiveness, considering growth potential and operational fit. Develop territory valuations in collaboration with Finance and Operations teams to inform bidding strategy. Create negotiation frameworks, deal terms, and letters of intent. Over time, build a strategic roadmap of target territories and regions to shape the future network.
Deal Execution: Lead end-to-end franchise acquisition processes from initial interest through close. Conduct thorough cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Operations, and Legal stakeholders. Develop and continuously improve the transaction playbook to accelerate deal velocity and post-close ROI. Execute each transaction with excellence while keeping stakeholders aligned.
Reporting & Insights: Track and analyze KPIs across acquired territories. Identify gaps and opportunities relative to deal thesis and develop action plans with finance and operations teams. Deliver sharp, data-driven insights to executive leadership that inform strategic decisions.
You bring 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, small business M&A, mid-market private equity, or corporate strategy. You have a strong track record leading cross-functional projects across Operations, Legal, and Finance, with demonstrated ability to build deal models and assess valuations. Experience with institutional investors and franchise M&A is preferred. Familiarity with AI-based tools is a plus. Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
