Forma.ai is a Series B startup revolutionizing sales compensation design and management, handling billions in annual managed commissions for enterprise clients like Edmentum, Stryker, and Autodesk. The company is seeking a Principal Consultant, Sales Effectiveness to lead the implementation and adoption of their Territory and Quota Management (TQM) platform.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff & Head of Sales Planning Products, you will serve as a strategic partner to enterprise customers, leading end-to-end sales planning solution implementations from objective setting and requirements gathering through system redesign, rollout, and change management. You'll work directly with C-suite executives, Forma's senior leadership, and product engineering teams to shape product requirements based on field insights and customer needs.
Key responsibilities include: leading enterprise-level implementations of territory and quota solutions; acting as a strategic advisor to optimize customers' sales planning processes; translating customer feedback and field experience into product requirements and feature prioritization; supporting sales and marketing efforts through solution scoping and proof-of-concept support; and operating with high ownership to drive clarity and decision-making in ambiguous situations.
You should bring 6+ years of progressive experience in sales effectiveness, territory and quota planning, sales incentives, or related domains—ideally from management consulting, technology consulting, solutions architecture, RevOps, or SPM roles. You must have owned executive client relationships, run discovery and design workshops, and delivered recommendations that drove business decisions. You're hands-on with analytics and modeling, comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and working through technical details with analysts. You're motivated by translating field learnings into better products and spotting patterns across customer implementations.
