This is a hybrid role based in Reading, UK, requiring 2–3 days in office. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance and subject matter expertise across the IAM domain. Working with client partners, security leaders, and technical teams, you will architect scalable identity governance solutions aligned with security best practices. Key responsibilities include leading technical delivery of IAM implementation projects, promoting strategic IAM assessments and roadmap discussions, and ensuring technical designs align with customer requirements and use cases. You will support pre-sales activities, including developing client-focused proposals and leading technical proofs of concept (PoCs). Collaboration with Project Services and Engagement Managers is essential to identify technical requirements, map them to project use cases, and develop sprint plans. You will mentor junior consultants, supporting their professional growth and project success, while sharing best practices to strengthen the IAM Centre of Excellence. Required qualifications include 10+ years of consulting and IAM experience, with 6+ years of hands-on SailPoint solution design and deployment. You must have experience with large-scale implementations (50K+ users), complex lifecycle workflows, custom connectors, automated provisioning, and role mining/RBAC/ABAC models. Technical expertise in web technologies (XML, SPML, SOAP/REST), databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL), and 4+ years leading large projects in a technical leadership capacity are essential. A Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent technical/business experience is required. SailPoint Engineer Certification and CISSP or CISM are preferred. You must be comfortable working remotely, leading virtual teams, balancing multiple workstreams, and traveling up to 30% annually. Strong communication skills and the ability to present solutions to technical and executive partners are critical.
