BitGo is a publicly traded (NYSE: BTGO) digital asset infrastructure company providing custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, stablecoins, and settlement services. The company operates BitGo Bank & Trust, the first federally chartered digital asset trust bank owned by a publicly traded company, and serves thousands of institutions including major financial institutions, exchanges, and platforms globally.
The Prime Client Services Associate will manage business operations for BitGo Prime's digital asset trading and financing services. This role sits within the BitGo Prime team, a dynamic group providing critical operational support to institutional trading, lending, and borrowing clients in partnership with the Trust custody and compliance entity, account managers, and finance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing BitGo Prime's trade and settlement workflows including trade entry, asset transfers, reporting, and reconciliation
- Collaborating with the Prime business team to maintain optimal funding across trading venues
- Serving as first-line support for trading and financing operations inquiries
- Leading process improvements, identifying operational gaps, and recommending automation opportunities
- Supporting testing efforts for proprietary system enhancements
- Producing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting the Sales and Client Services team with onboarding new counterparties
- Identifying operational risks, introducing controls, and documenting policies and procedures
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to improve products and services
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, exchanges, liquidity providers, and third-party providers
- Staying current on market trends, opportunities, risks, and new projects in the digital asset industry
Requirements:
- Previous middle or back-office experience in financial services trading, stock loan, or FX (required)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand asset flows and procedures
- Ability to effectively interact with others in a professional manner
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Hands-on Excel or Google Sheets experience; macro programming is a plus
- Experience managing and interacting with clients is a plus
- Genuine interest in financial services and cryptocurrency; professional or personal crypto experience is a plus
