Sierra is building an AI platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences. The company was founded by Bret Taylor (former Salesforce co-CEO, Facebook CTO, Google Maps co-creator) and Clay Bavor (18-year Google veteran who led Google Labs and AR/VR initiatives). Sierra is headquartered in San Francisco with offices across Atlanta, New York, London, Paris, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.
You'll join the pricing team as a Pricing Strategist, working at the intersection of sales, product, and operations. Your primary responsibilities include developing and delivering pricing proposals and ROI case studies for customers, collaborating with sales to navigate complex negotiations, and working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations to define Sierra's overall pricing and packaging strategy.
You'll leverage data-driven decision-making to shape go-to-market operations and help the company scale its pricing model as it grows. This role requires comfort with complex customer partnerships, understanding of SaaS sales cycles, and the ability to translate business requirements into pricing frameworks.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in consulting, banking, strategy, or business operations, with startup experience in GTM operations, SaaS pricing, sales, or marketing strongly preferred. You should have experience negotiating complex partnerships, familiarity with sales cycles, and a strong grasp of data-driven GTM strategy. A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) is expected.
Bonus qualifications include partnerships and business development experience, familiarity with AI or conversational AI technologies, and prior experience in 0-1 startups or high-growth environments.
Sierra offers competitive benefits including unlimited PTO, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, parental leave, fertility benefits, and equity participation for full-time employees.
