Ping Identity, a cloud identity platform serving Fortune 100 enterprises, seeks a strategic Pricing Director to lead end-to-end pricing transformation. This role sits within the Product Portfolio Strategy & Operations team and owns the complete monetization evolution across strategy, packaging design, cross-functional alignment, and execution.
Key responsibilities include architecting future-state offer structures, entitlement logic, bundling strategies, and customer migration paths. You will evolve AI and usage-based monetization by defining value metrics and designing hybrid, consumption-based pricing models. The role requires orchestrating complex transformation programs across Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations—harmonizing packaging structures, simplifying commercial structures, and scaling monetization across the portfolio.
Execution and change management are critical: you'll lead cross-functional execution across commercial systems and customer migration, develop change management strategies including executive updates and field readiness, and partner with Sales Enablement to equip go-to-market teams. Analytics and insights drive decision-making—you'll build data-driven business cases using financial modeling, define and track KPIs for post-launch performance and monetization impact, and leverage AI-augmented analytics tools.
The ideal candidate brings 10-12+ years in SaaS pricing, packaging, monetization strategy, or portfolio strategy (management consulting experience is a plus). Deep expertise in enterprise software pricing models—subscription, usage-based, tiered, and value-based—is essential. You must have proven Director-level experience leading complex strategic initiatives in matrixed environments, advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, strong executive presence and communication abilities, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred).
