Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced PLM Software Engineer to join the ArsenalOS team, a unified production systems platform serving as the digital backbone for manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, technical role focused on architecting and implementing mission-critical Teamcenter customizations, integrations, and solutions that enable engineering teams to design, manage, and deliver complex hardware products at scale.
You will own and deliver complex Teamcenter customizations and integrations (ITK, SOA, BMIDE, Active Workspace), build high-performance integrations between Teamcenter and other ArsenalOS systems (ERP, MES, change management, requirements management, CAD), and design scalable data models and workflow solutions. The role emphasizes greenfield development and modern software engineering practices rather than maintaining legacy systems.
Key responsibilities include: architecting and implementing Teamcenter solutions, building integrations across manufacturing and engineering systems, designing scalable data models while minimizing upgrade friction, improving platform observability and reliability, setting engineering excellence standards through technical guidance and high-quality code, leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), and collaborating cross-functionally with systems architecture, product, design, and manufacturing teams.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience in fast-paced environments, 3+ years of hands-on Teamcenter development including ITK (C/C++), BMIDE, SOA services, Active Workspace customization, and Teamcenter architecture/database knowledge. Strong programming skills in Java, C++, and C#, experience with modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code review), and proficiency with AI-assisted development tools. The ideal candidate is deeply technical, thrives in fast-moving environments, combines strong software engineering foundations with Teamcenter expertise, and avoids legacy-first thinking.
