Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health (SSRH) is launching AI-native healthcare ventures in Saudi Arabia, leveraging the Kingdom's robust infrastructure and forward-thinking innovation ecosystem. As Platform Lead, you will be a founding member of the Saudi platform, reporting to the Senior Director of New Ventures in Riyadh.
Your core responsibilities span three interconnected areas:
**Founder Sourcing & Assessment**: Design and execute a comprehensive founder strategy to identify, engage, and assess top-tier healthcare entrepreneurs for SSRH investment. Build a robust funnel through brand development, active outreach, partnerships, and events. Conduct due diligence with the investment team, prepare founders for Investment Committee review, and maintain a positive professional founder journey. Develop relationships with government entities (Monsha'at, Ministry of Health, Vision 2030 programs), universities, accelerators, and corporate partners. Organize strategic events including Founder Salons, investor roundtables, and ecosystem workshops.
**Brand & Marketing**: Position SSRH as a core contributor to Saudi Arabia's innovation and healthcare ecosystem. Partner with global Platform & Communications teams to maintain brand consistency while leading market-specific content creation across website, social media, newsletters, and press. Build partnerships with local media, influencers, and ecosystem players to amplify visibility and credibility. Plan and manage high-impact events and founder meetups that bring the SSRH brand to life.
**Founder Platform Management**: Collaborate with the SSRH and global Redesign Health teams to onboard new portfolio founders and set them up for success. Coordinate the strategic support services SSRH provides to portfolio companies.
Success metrics include SSRH being recognized as the leading healthcare venture-building platform nationally, establishing two or more high-impact strategic partnerships within six months, building a thriving founder community, increasing visibility and positive sentiment around Redesign Health's mission, and developing a self-sufficient, high-performing Saudi team.
You'll leverage AI skills to support your responsibilities and collaborate with U.S.-based counterparts while adapting strategies to the Saudi market. This is an early-stage opportunity to shape the operations and culture of a new innovation platform.
