Constructor is an AI-first ecommerce search and discovery platform launched in 2019 that helps global e-commerce brands drive revenue and conversion gains through intelligent product discovery.
You'll join Constructor's distributed platform engineering team as a Platform Enablement Engineer, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure backbone that powers the company's systems. This role bridges platform engineering and software engineering, ensuring infrastructure needs are met while scaling systems for reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advise software engineers on infrastructure best practices and strategies, ensuring seamless integration with application development workflows
- Design and implement new infrastructure solutions to enhance system reliability, scalability, and observability across AWS
- Set up, maintain, and scale cross-account AWS environments with security and compliance as top priorities
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment cycles
- Automate critical infrastructure updates and routine processes to reduce manual intervention
- Continuously evaluate and optimize existing systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with security experts to implement cutting-edge security practices
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with focus on cloud infrastructure
- Deep experience with AWS infrastructure management and IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, ElasticSearch, VictoriaMetrics, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to infrastructure challenges
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
