Veeva Systems, a $3B+ public benefit corporation and industry cloud pioneer in life sciences, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the Professional Services group. You will design and maintain cloud-based integration solutions for Veeva Vault Platform implementations, serving life sciences companies bringing therapies to patients faster.
In this role, you'll manage day-to-day operations, deployments, system monitoring, security patching, and incident resolution for hosted integrations. You'll support Computer System Validation (CSV) for 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliant integrations—critical regulatory requirements in pharma and biotech. You'll represent Global Technical Services across multiple workstreams including solution design, data migration, and systems integration.
Key responsibilities include developing internal and external tools for customers and consultants; owning roadmap, release planning, and product lifecycle for integration tools; designing and implementing cloud-based integrations using REST APIs; and translating functional and technical requirements into robust technical designs that integrate with Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, and Safety systems.
You'll work closely with Services and Product teams to ensure customer success and collaborate with stakeholders to establish solutions at both business and technical levels. This is a full-time, permanent remote role based in India, requiring legal authorization to work in India (no visa sponsorship provided).
Required: 5+ years software development experience with Java, SQL, and REST APIs; proficiency with Spring, Maven, and AWS; 3+ years customer-facing technical consulting; ability to understand life sciences industry functional and business needs; experience with AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or similar); excellent English communication skills.
Nice to have: Veeva Vault SDK experience; track record supporting high-impact global system implementations as consultant or IT lead.
