Palantir Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to join its Identity Platform team within the Information Security organization. In this role, you will design, build, and operate secure-by-design identity infrastructure and tooling that serves both Palantir's internal operations and customer-facing deployments. Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and implementing next-generation identity platform components: an access graph that makes entitlements legible and auditable, a policy engine that enforces authorization rules, and a token-issuance layer that maintains short-lived, scoped, least-privilege access by default. You will research and implement innovative solutions to help Palantir stay ahead of evolving security threats. The Identity Platform team operates infrastructure serving a globally distributed workforce as well as regulated and air-gapped customer environments. You will contribute to building paved-road tooling and secure baselines that teams across Palantir deploy on, with the goal of making the secure path the easy path. Your work will directly strengthen the identity substrate beneath Palantir's most critical deployments and help the organization scale identity governance and access management securely. You will work alongside high-performing engineers passionate about delivering identity outcomes at scale that reduce both risk and friction. The role spans design, implementation, and operational excellence, requiring deep expertise in identity infrastructure, access control systems, and security architecture.
