Palantir is seeking a Platform Engineer to join its Identity Platform team, part of the company's Information Security organization. In this role, you will design, build, and operate secure-by-design identity infrastructure and tooling that serves both internal Palantir teams and customers worldwide. You will work on next-generation identity platform components including: an access graph that makes entitlements legible and auditable; a policy engine that enforces authorization rules; and a token-issuance layer that maintains short-lived, scoped, least-privilege access by default. Your responsibilities span the full lifecycle from design through production deployment and operation. The Identity Platform team is high-performing and passionate about delivering identity outcomes at scale while reducing both risk and friction. The team builds and operates identity platforms serving corporate infrastructure, customer-facing production systems, and paved-road tooling that teams across Palantir deploy on. You will help make the secure path the easy path by strengthening the identity substrate beneath Palantir's most critical deployments, from globally distributed workforces to regulated and air-gapped environments. You will research and implement innovative solutions to help Palantir stay ahead of dynamic threat landscapes. This is a technical role focused on infrastructure, security, and scalability—ideal for an engineer who is passionate about identity governance, access management, and building systems that operate reliably at scale.
