Feedzai is a Series D fintech company ($2B valuation, $282M raised) building AI-powered fraud detection and financial crime prevention for the world's largest banks and payment networks. The company protects 1 billion consumers and $9 trillion in annual payment volume. The Platform Engineering Compute team owns the cloud platform architecture supporting Feedzai's cloud services and internal developer experience. As a Platform Engineer, you will own meaningful areas of the platform, contribute to architectural decisions, and improve automation and tooling across the organization. Key responsibilities include: - Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes Operators and platform services with focus on deployment, monitoring, and operations - Develop infrastructure code in Go or similar languages, following team standards and contributing to best practices - Automate cloud infrastructure and incident response; improve self-healing capabilities and overall reliability - Develop and refine playbooks, runbooks, and alerting strategies to streamline incident response - Maintain and improve product deployment pipelines and GitOps practices (FluxCD, Argo CD) - Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements - Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor) to ship faster and iterate effectively - Maintain and extend Infrastructure as Code and platform lifecycle management (monitoring, alerting, security, cost, configuration, backup) - Help improve developer experience and platform capabilities for product teams Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience - 2+ years hands-on platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure experience - Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or similar languages - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration - CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab) and GitOps tools (FluxCD, Argo CD) - Experience with AWS or GCP and cloud-native patterns - Monitoring and observability experience (Grafana, Prometheus) - Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Crossplane) - Self-driven, collaborative mindset with motivation to improve platform engineering Preferred: excellent communication skills, comfort with AI-augmented development tools, relevant certifications in Kubernetes/cloud/programming.
