Exiger is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to own and evolve critical infrastructure components supporting the company's AI-powered supply chain platform. The role encompasses CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes orchestration, secrets and identity management, observability, and automated compliance controls. Key responsibilities include designing and building reusable platform components (Terraform modules, Helm charts, pipeline templates) that engineering teams can reliably adopt. You'll operate production Amazon EKS clusters and multi-account AWS environments, managing networking, identity, and secrets. A significant focus is translating FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and SOC 2 requirements into automated technical controls and continuously auditable systems, with expansion into AWS GovCloud to support federal workloads. You'll build observability and reliability practices that make production behavior visible and measurable, partner directly with product engineering teams to reduce development friction, participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive durable fixes. Success requires solving ambiguous technical problems through data and evidence rather than assumptions. Required qualifications include strong production experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD; a track record of solving complex problems through investigation; excellent written and verbal communication; experience driving platform adoption across teams you don't directly manage; hands-on cloud security and compliance implementation; and tooling/automation development in Python or Go. U.S. citizenship is required for access to FedRAMP federal environments. Nice-to-have experience includes FedRAMP/FISMA/IL4/IL5/CMMC environments, AWS GovCloud, policy-as-code, HashiCorp Vault, multi-region disaster recovery, internal developer platforms, and automated compliance practices.
