The company operates globally with offices across Santa Clara, St. Louis, Bangalore, London, Paris, Melbourne, Taipei, and Tokyo. As a Senior Platform Engineer focused on Agent Release, you will own the complete CI/CD pipeline and release infrastructure for Netskope's agent and model deployment system. The role centers on building automated gates and processes that ensure safe, reliable progression of agents from development through production. Key responsibilities include: - Design and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for agent and model changes, managing progression through sandbox, development, staging, and production environments - Build automated release gates using evaluation score thresholds, security scans, and guardrail tests to eliminate manual review bottlenecks - Implement progressive rollout strategies with canary deployments, monitoring quality and cost metrics in real-time before full traffic promotion - Own rollback infrastructure and automation, ensuring bad releases can be reversed in minutes with automatic trigger conditions - Manage model tiering across the agent fleet, routing agents to appropriate model tiers based on task complexity and optimizing for cost - Oversee the shadow-period process for newly promoted agents, ensuring proper metrics and review checkpoints before autonomous operation - Run regression testing for new model versions to prevent silent degradation in production agents - Partner with the Agent Runtime Engineer to troubleshoot and resolve issues during rollouts This role requires deep expertise in release engineering at scale, with specific experience deploying LLM and agent-based systems. You'll be responsible for turning operational uncertainty into automated confidence, building the gates and processes that allow a platform running over 100 agents to release safely and frequently.
