Ripple is seeking a Regional Security Manager to establish and lead corporate security operations across APAC and MENA regions. This is a foundational leadership role reporting to the Head of Global Corporate Security, responsible for building out a regional security function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary in-region point of contact for all security matters across MENA and APAC, advising regional leadership, HR, Legal, and Workplace teams on security posture and risk.
- Develop and continuously evolve regional security strategy, including travel risk management, incident response protocols, and office security standards across the growing office footprint.
- Lead and manage vendor relationships across the region, measuring performance of third-party contractors, guarding providers, and security service partners.
- Build and maintain local relationships with authorities, industry peers, and intelligence sources to strengthen situational awareness and early-warning capability.
- Lead regional incident response, ensuring rapid, locally-informed decision-making and escalation to global leadership.
- Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness across all in-region operations, ensuring consistent application of Ripple's global security standards.
- Establish security groundwork—relationships, risk intelligence, and vendor networks—ahead of Ripple's expansion into new markets including Pakistan and Nigeria.
- Provide expert in-region support during office build-outs, security system rollouts, and regional projects requiring local coordination and progress reporting.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in corporate/physical security roles covering the MENA and/or APAC region.
- Strong existing network of regional contacts across law enforcement, government liaison, intelligence, and vendor communities.
- Demonstrated experience managing incident response, travel risk, and vendor relationships with successful, on-time delivery.
- High level of integrity and ability to professionally handle confidential and sensitive matters with sound judgment and maturity.
- Tenacity and ability to build a regional function from the ground up.
- Comfort operating with high degree of autonomy across time zones, with strong communication and escalation discipline back to global GCS leadership.
