SmithRx is a venture-backed healthtech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector with a next-generation drug acquisition platform. The company has onboarded hundreds of thousands of members since 2016 and is rapidly expanding across the United States. As Pharmacy Consultant Relations Leader, you will lead a small team managing and building relationships within the pharmacy consultant community. You'll be responsible for educating consultants on SmithRx's value proposition and key differentiators, ensuring they correctly evaluate the platform in the market while gathering direct feedback for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include nurturing relationships with key pharmacy consulting contacts, driving opportunity growth through the consultant channel, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Ops, Pricing & Proposals, Strategy, Analytics, and Marketing teams. You will develop playbooks for consultant partners, facilitate meetings to drive excitement about SmithRx's capabilities, represent the company at consultant-led events, and lead training and content preparation initiatives. Additional duties include assisting with RFI/RFP responses, demonstrating client value to consultants, conducting ongoing performance presentations, and providing follow-up on RFP submissions. You'll partner closely with Sales on broker and consultant relationship overlap to present a cohesive external view. The role requires 10-20% travel based on seasonal and business needs. You'll report directly to the VP of Commercial Strategy and work in a mission-driven, collaborative culture focused on transforming the U.S. healthcare system. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of PBM experience working with consultants, preferably with prior experience at a pharmacy consulting firm. You should thrive in high-growth, fast-changing environments, possess excellent presentation and writing skills, and be adept at social selling and networking.
