Flipdish is a restaurant technology platform that provides independent restaurant and takeaway owners with powerful, simple-to-use solutions for online ordering, marketing, loyalty, point of sale, menu optimization, and operational automation. The company is AI-first and focused on helping restaurant operators grow while staying in control. You will join Flipdish's Marketing team as a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager, owning day-to-day execution and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns across the UK and Ireland. This is an individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys being in the platforms, testing ideas, and turning results into practical improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across Meta (primary channel), Google, and ChatGPT (secondary channels). You'll inherit an established Meta program with a five-figure monthly media budget, with a mandate to protect what's working while improving acquisition efficiency and lead quality. - Run disciplined experiments across creative, messaging, audiences, bidding, and landing-page conversion. Define clear hypotheses and success measures, interpret results honestly, scale promising approaches, and stop tests that don't deliver. - Explore new growth channels proactively, bringing the VP of Marketing practical recommendations with clear rationale, test plans, proposed budgets, and success measures. - Connect campaign performance to commercial outcomes by working with Marketing, Commercial, and Product colleagues to understand lead quality, pipeline progression, and customer acquisition. Use CPL, cost per qualified lead, conversion rates, and CAC where reliable data is available. - Develop effective creative and messaging by translating customer insights and product benefits into briefs, ad hooks, and copy. Coordinate asset production and iteration with Design and Videography teams. - Collaborate across teams, partnering with the SEO/AEO specialist on messaging and landing pages, and communicating results, priorities, blockers, and recommended next steps clearly. - Challenge poor decisions and propose better ways of working; constructive challenge is a responsibility. You will work closely with the VP of Marketing, who owns wider growth strategy and approves channel priorities and major investment decisions. You'll have autonomy to make day-to-day decisions within agreed budgets and priorities. Success means attracting suitable restaurant and takeaway operators and turning demand into qualified pipeline and signed customers—not just clicks or cheap leads. The role is hybrid with two days per week from the Sandyford office in Dublin. Requirements: - 5+ years' experience in paid media or performance marketing, with evidence of hands-on campaign ownership and measurable results. - Strong Meta expertise at meaningful spend levels; comfortable working directly in the account or through supporting AI tools. - Essential paid media portfolio showcasing campaigns you personally worked on, the work you're proudest of, and your strongest commercial returns. Must be able to explain your contribution, testing approach, results, and showcase current live Meta ads through the Meta Ads Library. - Hands-on experience using the Google paid suite to generate demand and acquire customers, with ability to recommend, test, and optimize campaigns against lead quality and commercial outcomes. - Understanding of UK or Irish audiences and ability to adapt messaging to their commercial and cultural context. - Sound commercial judgement, understanding lead quality, pipeline conversion, and customer acquisition economics—recognizing that lower CPL does not always mean better results. - Curiosity and proactivity about new growth opportunities; ability to turn ideas into practical, prioritized experiments with clear success measures. - Confidence using dashboards and platform data to diagnose performance, interpret results, and recommend changes. - Ability to write effective creative briefs and ad copy, collaborate constructively with designers, and work alongside an SEO/AEO specialist. - Ownership of reliable execution, clear communication, and judgment about when to act independently versus escalate. Desirable experience: - B2B SaaS, restaurant technology, or marketing to small business owners. - Familiarity with CRM data and connecting paid campaigns to qualified pipeline and customer outcomes. - Experience improving landing-page conversion. - Practical use of AI tools or automation to save time on reporting, monitoring, or creative iteration.
