Adyen is seeking a People Solutions Partner to join its People Operations team in Singapore. This is an embedded internal product builder role that sits at the intersection of people operations and hands-on engineering—not a traditional HR operations generalist role, nor a back-end platform engineering role.
You will transform manual workflows into intelligent, tech-forward processes by auditing daily People Operations workflows (onboarding, internal transfers, offboarding) to identify friction points. You'll design, test, and ship specialized AI protocols, automated routing, and self-healing pipelines to eliminate predictable patterns and minimize exceptions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively build, prototype, and deploy solutions independently using AI-assisted coding tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and basic scripting (e.g., Google Apps Script) to iterate on internal HR micro-tools and custom integrations without waiting for dedicated engineering cycles.
- Structure and maintain internal HR knowledge to power automated search, conversational assistants, and triage systems enabling employees and managers to resolve inquiries quickly.
- Act as the operational liaison between People Operations and core People Technology teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements, workflow maps, and API/webhook integrations.
- Redesign core lifecycle processes to scale operations, defining and tracking key efficiency metrics such as manual hours saved, cycle-time reductions, and self-service adoption.
- Establish guardrails around employee data security, privacy, and algorithmic fairness, applying rigorous testing and QA protocols to ensure AI-driven workflows remain accurate, reliable, compliant, and transparent.
- Build playbooks, documentation, and enablement frameworks for the broader People team on leveraging Generative AI, prompt engineering, and low-code tools.
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The company is office-first and values in-person collaboration.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building, scaling, or optimizing internal platforms at a high-growth global company. Background in Product Management, People Ops, Business Systems, or Technical Systems Optimization, with proven track record building automated, user-centric internal tools.
- User-centric mindset with strong UX/UI empathy. Experience conducting internal user research, designing intuitive employee-facing interfaces (especially conversational UI like Slack), and driving change management and user adoption across global workforces.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI-driven workflows, generative AI models, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows. Comfortable using AI coding assistants, low-code platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier), and scripting to parse data and interact with REST APIs and webhooks independently.
- Deep operational familiarity with core HR platforms (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, DocuSign, ticketing platforms) from a super-user/administrator perspective.
- Ability to break down complex, cross-functional HR processes into structured, event-driven system logic with explicit automated triggers and exception-handling mechanisms.
- Excellent capability to translate complex AI concepts and architectural constraints into clear operational requirements for non-technical business partners and core engineering teams.
- Entrepreneurial builder mindset who thrives in rapid growth and ambiguity, taking end-to-end ownership to rapidly prototype, test, and scale structured technical solutions.
