Cohere is hiring a People Project Manager to join its HR PMO and help scale HR programs, products, and initiatives globally. This role sits at the intersection of HR strategy and operational excellence in a hypergrowth, security-first enterprise AI company.
You'll own the full lifecycle of HR projects—from conception through delivery. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of HR programs across the global roadmap, building plans and milestones with clear ownership, coordinating cross-functional execution with Finance, Legal, IT, and other teams, driving project governance to manage risks and dependencies, and creating repeatable workflows and tools that enable HR to execute at scale.
The role demands someone who thrives in ambiguity and pace. You'll turn fast-moving, complex problems into clear plans and outcomes. You'll stay ahead of details, dependencies, and decisions while maintaining momentum. You'll collaborate across a distributed global team, bringing stakeholders together to create alignment without relying on formal authority.
You should have 3+ years of project or program management experience in a fast-moving, high-growth organization. You're an excellent independent project manager capable of driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. You're hyper-organized with exceptional attention to detail and strong systems for managing work. You get excited about building something new rather than maintaining the status quo. You communicate exceptionally—producing crisp plans, updates, and documentation. You're collaborative, low-ego, and invested in making the whole team better.
