Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes. As People Programs Lead, you will own the design and execution of employee experience programs that shape Ramp's culture and operations at scale. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role with high visibility and impact. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute your own roadmap for people programs by synthesizing signals from engagement surveys, People Business Partners, managers, and People Operations, making strategic decisions on what to build, improve, delegate, or discontinue. - Own onboarding effectiveness end-to-end, from pre-start through the first week, ensuring new hires experience Ramp's culture and working model from day one. Partner with People Ops and IT on logistics. - Design and own the performance review cycle's program architecture—timeline, tools, and manager/employee experience—in partnership with People Business Partners on calibration and outcomes. - Build and run manager enablement as a standalone program, creating content, frameworks, and key moments that help managers lead effectively. - Conceive and execute company-wide culture-building programs, owning all logistics and content end-to-end. - Own recognition programming: design how the company surfaces and celebrates achievements, and establish rituals and milestones that make Ramp's culture tangible. - Own the biannual engagement survey: design, administer, and translate results into actionable insights with People Business Partners. - Serve as the trusted advisor on build-versus-buy decisions for people programs and tools, grounded in judgment about investment value. You will work closely with People Business Partners, People Operations, Communications, and leadership to ensure programs land and thrive. Requirements: - 5+ years owning people and culture programs end-to-end at a high-growth company, from ideation through hands-on execution - Proven track record as a builder: you have created new programming from scratch, not adapted existing playbooks - Strong facilitation skills and executive presence; comfortable being the visible face of programs company-wide - Comfortable with data: able to analyze engagement survey results and program metrics to develop informed points of view - Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across functions (People Business Partners, Communications, Enablement, leadership) - First-principles thinker who can transform ambiguity into scalable frameworks without requiring a rulebook
