Neko Health is a Swedish healthcare technology company founded in 2018, headquartered in Stockholm and New York, with operations across Europe and the US. The company is redefining preventative care through proprietary technology that delivers personalized health insights in a single, non-invasive visit under an hour. This is one of the most senior People roles at headquarters outside the Global People Lead. The role sits at the intersection of Legal, Finance, People, and parts of Product & Technology—functions at genuinely different stages of maturity. Success requires fluidity across different disciplines and the ability to bring tailored people practice to each function rather than applying a single playbook. Key responsibilities: - Own the people agenda across Corporate Functions (Legal, Finance, People) and partner with the Global People Lead on parts of Product & Technology. Lead workforce planning and organizational design tailored to each function's stage of maturity—building where functions are still finding shape, optimizing where stable. - Serve as strategic partner to senior leadership, translating business strategy into people priorities and operating plans. Coach and challenge leaders on decisions that shape their organizations, thinking ahead of today's priorities. Bring sound judgment to sensitive people matters. - Champion Neko's cultural Vitals by embedding them into how teams operate day-to-day across all four functions. Help leaders translate values into practical behaviors and decisions. Build rituals and feedback loops that keep culture lived as each function matures. - Drive talent management across Corporate Functions and Product & Tech in partnership with Growth & Engagement. Advise on compensation, mobility, and promotions, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. - Lead change initiatives affecting structure or operating model, owning scope, timeline, stakeholder engagement, and change readiness. Manage employee relations matters with discretion, working with Legal and specialist counsel. Spot risk early across capacity and organizational pace. - Use workforce and organizational data to shape decisions ahead of need. Deliver people analytics and actionable insights. Put data and AI to work in the people agenda—sharper decisions, less manual effort. - Recognize that different functions need different structures, rhythms, and support. Turn central People programmes into practice that fits each function's actual culture and maturity. Bring judgment to designing with AI as a genuine participant in how roles and structures should look. Requirements: - 10+ years in senior HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People/HR leadership roles, including ownership of the people agenda across genuinely different functions at Director level or above. - Deep, hands-on experience across organizational design, workforce planning, people strategy, and culture—genuine depth in all four, built through direct ownership rather than generalist HRBP exposure. - Experience owning leadership development and performance calibration outcomes for a senior leadership population. - Track record of personally leading change initiatives end-to-end: scope, timeline, and stakeholder engagement. - Genuine passion for culture and values, with experience helping leaders embed them into how their teams actually work. - Track record of partnering with and influencing senior functional leaders on complex, high-stakes organizational decisions, operating with genuine autonomy as an independent decision-maker. - Comfort holding functions at very different stages of maturity at once, adapting approach rather than applying one framework to all. - Fluent with people data and actively using AI in your own work. - Working knowledge of employment law relevant to Neko's HQ locations (UK, Sweden, US), with judgment to know when to bring in specialist expertise.
