Qevlar AI is a B2B SaaS scale-up building an AI platform that helps cybersecurity teams transition from reactive to proactive operations through autonomous security alert investigations. The company has raised $44M from EQT Ventures, Forgepoint Capital, and Partech, deployed solutions with major enterprises like Sodexo and GlobalConnect, grown to 1,500+ clients across the US and EMEA, and ended 2025 with strong multi-million dollar ARR targeting $25M by end of 2027. You will be Qevlar's first People Partner, building the People function alongside the Chief People Officer. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape how the company manages, grows, and supports its people as it scales. You'll serve as the go-to partner for managers, coaching them through core People processes including onboarding, performance reviews, and career development. You'll support employees through key moments in their journey—career moves, international mobility, performance conversations, and transitions—bringing clarity, fairness, and care to each interaction. You'll lead on French labor law and CSE (Works Council) matters, preparing meetings and consultations, responding to employee representatives, drafting internal policies, and knowing when to escalate to external counsel. You'll bring the company culture to life in a remote-first environment across France, UK, and US teams through engagement initiatives, internal communications, a central People knowledge hub, and connecting rituals. You'll partner closely with People Ops to ensure smooth employee experience, from reliable HRIS data to seamless processes across the employee lifecycle. This role offers a real seat at the table with broad, high-impact scope and direct visibility to leadership. You'll shape hiring, management, growth, and retention strategies as the company scales, with no silos or ticket queues. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in HR, including 3+ years as an HRBP, ideally in a high-growth tech company with a lean HR team - Hands-on French labor-law expertise: personal experience handling sensitive cases, disciplinary procedures, and CSE consultations; knowledge of timelines and risks - Proven ability to coach managers through difficult conversations, helping them own these moments rather than handling them directly; willingness to challenge managers when needed - Generalist, hands-on approach: experience with People Ops topics (admin, payroll inputs, HRIS) and comfort rolling up sleeves as needed - Agility, pragmatism, and sense of urgency - International mindset: experience supporting teams across multiple countries; full professional fluency in French and English - Visible, approachable presence; ability to energize people in conversations - Bonus: experience in B2B Enterprise Sales environment and AI in daily workflow
