Snowflake is seeking a People Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to Product and Engineering leaders and their teams. This is a hands-on role supporting the full spectrum of people topics: talent acquisition and retention, performance management, engagement, organizational design, and change management. You will partner closely with managers on performance reviews, calibrations, and talent decisions. Key responsibilities include coaching managers through difficult conversations, helping teams raise performance standards, supporting promotions and compensation cycles, and driving succession planning. You'll also identify trends in engagement and attrition, turning data-driven insights into action. The role requires comfort with complex employee relations situations and the ability to partner with Employee Relations specialists when needed. You'll help teams scale and reorganize while maintaining momentum, and leverage Workday reporting and AI tools to diagnose issues and scale impact. The People Partner will work across global teams, collaborating with other People Partners, Employee Relations, and Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, Recruiting) to deliver programs tailored to technical organizations. Snowflake emphasizes an AI-native culture and is looking for someone curious about how AI can evolve the people partner role itself. The company values low-ego, experimental thinkers who thrive in dynamic environments. Work model: Hybrid, three days per week in-office (Menlo Park, CA or Bellevue, WA). REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years of HR/People experience, including as a people partner or generalist - Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or other technical organizations in a fast-paced environment (preferred) - Hands-on experience advising managers through performance challenges, review cycles, and calibrations - Strong coaching skills with ability to help managers have direct, empathetic conversations - Comfort with data; ability to interpret people metrics and turn them into recommendations - Ability to build credibility quickly with technical managers and push back constructively - Curiosity and applied interest in AI and how it can evolve the people partner role - Ability to thrive in high-volume environments and own outcomes from start to finish - Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
