Vercel is seeking a People Operations Integrations Developer to help reinvent how HR systems work at the company. You'll be at the intersection of People Operations and engineering, building and maintaining Workday integrations while also developing Vercel-powered internal tools that modernize HR workflows. In this role, you'll own discrete integration projects independently, including building and troubleshooting Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and APIs. You'll partner directly with People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into reliable, well-documented solutions. Key responsibilities include developing working knowledge of core People Operations processes (hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, org management), monitoring integration health and troubleshooting failures, maintaining clear documentation of integration logic and field mappings, and contributing to testing, security, and change-management practices. You'll report to the Director of People Operations, Infrastructure & Services and work from one of Vercel's hub locations: San Francisco, New York, or Austin. Required qualifications include 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations, working knowledge of XML/XSLT and calculated fields, and genuine interest in People Operations processes. You should be comfortable learning the functional "why" behind processes, not just the technical "how," and enjoy building relationships with non-technical stakeholders. Experience with generative AI and agentic coding platforms is valued, as is familiarity with Workday Extend for building applications. Vercel is the company behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, and millions of developers worldwide. The role offers competitive compensation including equity, healthcare, mentorship, flexible time off, and work-from-home support.
