Invisible Technologies is an AI platform company that structures messy data, automates digital workflows, deploys agentic solutions, and integrates human expertise. Profitable for over half a decade, the company reached $134M in revenue, ranked #2 fastest-growing AI company on the 2024 Inc. 5000, and recently raised $100M in growth capital. This is a generalist People Experience role supporting the People Experience Director as their main execution partner. The role spans four core areas: **Content Creation:** Write competency frameworks, career paths, and leveling content for teams across the organization. Own and maintain the employee handbook, keeping policies accurate as the company evolves across entities, countries, and structures. Draft internal communications for People initiatives—announcements, manager guidance, FAQs, rollout messaging—in a direct, non-corporate voice. Build practical program materials: manager toolkits, training decks, process guides, templates, and briefing documents. **Program Management:** Coordinate People team programs end-to-end, including performance cycles, engagement surveys, onboarding improvements, platform rollouts, framework launches, and compliance projects. Build project plans with owners, dates, and dependencies; track progress and escalate early when slips occur. Coordinate stakeholders across People, Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and business leadership who don't report to you but are all busy. Own the follow-through after decisions are made, closing the gap between agreement and live implementation. **Employee Relations:** Run and manage ER cases independently—grievances, investigations, performance management, absence, conduct, and exits. Take cases from intake to outcome: hold meetings, gather evidence, write findings, draft outcome letters, and maintain clean records. Work with in-house employment counsel on complex or high-risk matters. Spot patterns across cases and flag systemic issues. **Supporting People Operations:** Improve day-to-day processes: onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, leave, reference letters, ticket flows. Document undocumented processes and simplify those that have grown complicated. Help People Ops land their projects—system rollouts, audit and compliance prep, vendor changes, data cleanups. Pull and sanity-check data for decision-making. You'll have proper support: in-house legal counsel covers anything with real risk, and People Operations specialists own systems and transactional work. Your job is improving how it all runs, not carrying it alone. **Requirements:** - US employee relations case management experience is essential. You must have run US cases independently, including investigations and performance exits. You understand where legal risk sits, how it shifts by state, and when to escalate. Exposure to other jurisdictions is a bonus. - Generalist track record in fast growth: you've worked in a generalist People or HR role at a startup or scale-up where processes didn't exist yet, and you were the person who actually delivered. You know what to build now and what can wait. - Demonstrated ability to use AI to produce content fast and well. You can take a messy brief and stakeholder conversations and return with accurate, readable, on-tone frameworks or policies. - Project management experience: you've managed something with more than five stakeholders and landed it on time. You close loops without being chased and flag risk early. - Ability to move people without authority. You're comfortable being politely relentless with senior stakeholders for input and decisions. - Strong organizational skills visible to others: trackers, clear status, no surprises. You can report on six workstreams in 30 seconds. - Comfort with ambiguity. Some briefs will be clear; some will be a sentence and a deadline. You come back with a draft, not questions. - Data fluency: HRIS, spreadsheets, survey data. You can pull numbers, sanity-check them, and present them to decision-makers. - Distributed org experience. The company is global and remote-first across multiple time zones and entities. You know how to keep things moving asynchronously. - Preference for breadth over depth. You'd rather do eight different things well than one thing forever, and you believe in evidence over instinct. - The company values evidence of good work over years of experience. Bring examples: frameworks you wrote, programs you ran, cases you closed.
