Reliable Robotics is building automated aviation systems to enhance safety in air transportation. As a People Operations Generalist, you will join the People team reporting to the VP, Business & People Operations, supporting the organization's HR operations with a focus on compliance, benefits, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer employee benefits programs, including life events and open enrollment
- Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by monitoring regulatory changes, managing required reporting and documentation
- Draft new HR policies and update the employee handbook
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system
- Support compliance filings and implement HR programs that promote consistency and positive employee experience
- Support employees across multiple states and countries
This is an onsite role based in Mountain View, California. The position requires access to export-controlled information, and employment is contingent upon compliance with U.S. export control laws.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in HR Compliance and Benefits Administration
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ACA)
- Experience administering employee benefits programs, life events, and open enrollment
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems and maintaining accurate employee data
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
- Customer-centric mindset and positive attitude to provide responsive support and excellent employee experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization, configuring workflows and processes to streamline data entry and reporting
- Experience with multi-state employment law
