Viktor is an AI teammate product that lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connecting to thousands of tools and automating work across finance, marketing, ops, and engineering. The company is building a product designed to replace half the SaaS stack and is one of the fastest-growing companies globally.
You will be Viktor's first dedicated People hire, based in Warsaw and reporting to Paweł Siuciak, Head of Operations. You own the complete experience of every person at Viktor from signed offer onward, managing the journey for 5–10 joiners per month across four hubs: Warsaw, Munich, New York, and Dublin.
Key responsibilities include:
- Run onboarding end to end: manage the handoff from recruiting, pre-start setup, welcome kits, first-week experience, buddy assignments, and 30/60/90 check-ins.
- Coordinate relocations: work with visa providers, own timelines, and support housing and arrival logistics.
- Oversee milestones, role and office changes, recognition, offboarding, and rituals that work across all offices.
- Travel to New York, Dublin, and Munich for hub launches and joiner cohorts.
Success metrics include: every joiner going through a unified onboarding program with a named buddy before day one; feedback captured after week one and day 30; a relocation playbook tested on real moves; onboarding running independently at hubs without senior oversight; and joiner communications automated through Viktor.
Viktor operates with a small team, high trust, and low process. Decisions are made by owners, not committees. You will ship your first week and talk to users your first day. There are no alignment meetings or stakeholder syncs—the focus is building things, seeing if they work, and iterating.
This role is foundational: you build the People function, then lead it as the team grows. Everyone at Viktor owns something real that customers depend on. This is a rare window where that ownership structure still exists.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience organizing something real end to end for other people (an event, program, cohort, or move), with clarity on scope and your personal contribution.
- Proactive: you notice what needs doing and do it without being asked.
- Strong critical thinking: when asked what you'd change about a first week, you pick one thing and defend it.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
- Comfortable using AI tools to systematize your own work.
- Preferred: experience running onboarding, a buddy program, or community program at a startup; international relocation experience; ability to create welcome kits and content people want to keep.
