Mollie is a European payments and money management platform serving 250,000+ businesses across 14+ locations. The Planning & Analysis domain drives data-informed decision-making aligned with growth and cost strategy. In this role, you will be the analytical backbone of the People & Places (P&P) team, translating workforce signals—hiring, attrition, spend—into actionable insights for leadership and business partners. You'll own the complete headcount and people cost narrative, from forecasting to monthly business reviews to annual planning cycles. Key responsibilities: - Own Mollie's headcount tracking, forecasting, and modeling, including the headcount model, hiring plan, attrition view, and the link between headcount and budget. - Lead analytical responses to critical workforce questions: sizing hiring needs, stress-testing plan assumptions, building the case for new teams and locations. - Build and maintain models that decompose headcount and people costs into key drivers (hiring pace, attrition, mix, seniority, location), enabling P&P and senior leaders to prioritize with confidence. - Present trends in people data and the story behind them—spend, People OPEX, Places costs, vendor spend—to leadership. - Own the people and headcount view end-to-end in monthly business reviews and the annual planning cycle. You'll work in small, autonomous teams with real ownership and trust to make decisions. Mollie emphasizes long-term thinking, balanced work environments, and internal mobility for career growth. REQUIREMENTS: - 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, workforce planning, or people analytics, ideally in high-growth fintech, tech, or payments companies. - Academic background in a quantitative or business field. - Proficiency with AI tooling in daily work (required); you use it to accelerate output, pressure-test thinking, automate recurring work, and uncover insights. - Strong modeling skills in Google Sheets or Excel; familiarity with HRIS and data visualization tools (HiBob, Workday, Omni, or similar). - Comfort reasoning about headcount, attrition, cost per head, and hiring funnel metrics. - Experience with Pigment or comparable planning platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar). - Action-oriented mindset: your analysis moves beyond description to recommendation and advocacy. - Ability to handle sensitive people data with discretion and good judgment.
