Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to join the Air Dominance and Strike team in Costa Mesa, California. In this role, you will design and layout printed circuit boards for test systems supporting development, qualification, verification, and validation of advanced military avionics and autonomous systems. You will collaborate closely with avionics, systems, and software engineers to translate schematics and design requirements into manufacturable PCB layouts. Key responsibilities include: - Creating PCB layouts using Altium Designer, applying industry best practices for signal and power integrity - Designing high-speed digital interfaces (USB, PCIe, Ethernet) with controlled impedance routing - Managing ECAD libraries and ensuring design rule compliance - Coordinating with fabrication and assembly vendors on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) considerations - Working with multi-layer boards (10+ layers) including BGA fanout and high-density routing - Supporting both development efforts and active field deployments with rapid turnaround Required qualifications include 3+ years of PCB layout experience, 3+ years with Altium, proficiency in reading schematics, solid understanding of PCB fabrication processes, experience with ECAD libraries, knowledge of signal and power integrity principles, and familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces. Eligibility for security clearance is required. Preferred qualifications include CID/CID++/PCEA-CPCD certifications, experience with MIL-STD and IPC standards, high-density and high-speed routing expertise, power distribution network analysis, vendor coordination experience, and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
