AnySignal is building advanced connectivity solutions for the space economy. As a PCB Designer, you will own the complete design and manufacturing lifecycle of highly integrated RF devices serving space customers. You'll work alongside a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to move products from initial concept through delivery.
Key responsibilities include PCB placement and routing, design of multilayer RF/mixed-signal/high-speed digital and power boards, stackup definition, controlled impedance specification, and routing constraint management. You'll create and maintain Altium symbols, footprints, and component libraries, generate fabrication and assembly documentation, and collaborate with fabricators and contract manufacturers to resolve design-for-manufacturability and production issues.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of professional PCB layout experience with strong Altium Designer proficiency. You must have hands-on experience with RF and microwave layouts, including controlled-impedance transmission lines, matching networks, RF isolation, ground stitching, via fencing, and shielding. Deep understanding of grounding, return paths, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and power distribution is essential. Knowledge of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and DFM/DFA principles is required, along with ability to read schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.
Desired experience includes FPGA/RFSoC systems, DDR memory, PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204, high-speed SerDes, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and precision clock distribution. HDI, microvias, via-in-pad, and backdrilling experience is valued. Familiarity with PCB analysis tools (Ansys SIwave, HyperLynx, Sigrity) and Altium 365 workflows is a plus. Aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics background and IPC Class 3 knowledge are preferred.
