As a Payment Operations Associate, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring daily transactions, including PESONet and InstaPay transfers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies. You will monitor dashboards and alerts to flag unusual transaction activity or system issues, escalating to appropriate teams as needed. Your role includes supporting reconciliation activities by validating transaction records against partner and bank reports, and following up on unmatched or pending items.
You will assist with exception handling and basic settlement tasks, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with banks, e-wallets, and payment partners on routine operational concerns, maintaining accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and resolutions, and supporting testing and validation efforts for new payment features, partners, or process changes. You will ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures related to fiat money movement and customer transactions, and perform ad hoc tasks supporting broader Coins.ph Payments Operations initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 1–3 years of experience in payments operations, banking operations, fintech, or transaction processing roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or similar field
- Exposure to or familiarity with PESONet and InstaPay payment rails (advantageous)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Google Suite, Excel, and operational dashboards
- Good communication skills in both English and Filipino
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in leveraging AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks (preferred)
